In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the official release, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
